Literacy Volunteers helps people whose primary language is not English to learn the
language skills that will help them adapt to their new home. It is not necessary to speak the student’s language to be a Literacy Volunteer. Call Ken O’Brien for information at (508) 764-5426.

Ingles para quienes Hablan Otro Idioma (ESOL)

· This ESOL program is designed to assist adults 16 years and older who want to
communicate better in English.

· Program ESOL jest zaprojektowany dla ludzi powyzej 16 roku zycia, ktorzy pragna nauczyc sie jezyka angielskiego.

· Este programa ESOL esta disenado para asistir a personas de 16 anos de edad y
adultos quienes desean comunicarse de mejor manera en el idioma ingles.

· There are beginning, intermediate and advanced classes which are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30-9 pm at Bartlett High School, 52 Lake Parkway, Webster. Call (508) 949-8282 for information. ESOL placement tests are held on the second
Thursday of each month in the high school cafeteria. They are free and last 30 min.

· Klasy odbywac sie beda we wtorki i czwartki od 5:30-9 w Bartlett High School, 52 Lake Parkway w Webster. Informacja pod numerem telefonu (508) 949-8282. Wszyscy kandydaci zobowiazani sa przejsc test kwalifikacyjny okreslajacy poziom wiedzy jezykowej. Testy kwalifikacyjne odbywac sie beda w drugi czwartek kazdego miesiaca w kafeterii Bartlett High School. Testy sa bezplatne i trwaja okolo 30 minut.

· Hay clases gratis para principiantes, intermedio y avanzado las cuales se ofrecen cada Martes y Jueves de 5:30-9 en la Escuela Superior Bartlett, 52 Lake Parkway, Webster. Para informacion llame al (508) 943-8282. El examen de admision ESOL se ofrece el segundo Jueves de cada mes en la cafeteria de la escuela. El examen es gratis y tiene una duracion de 30 minutos.

· Community Languages are those spoken by minority groups living in a majority
language environment. Webster is home to many different ethnic communities.
